A natural play area has been installed alongside the path to Brettenham Road. This is proving a great success and is a great addition to the park while the building work is carried out. Once the new play area is built in 2012 this natural play area will be kept and if necessary expanded. The £8,500 finance for this was obtained from the Walthamstow West Community Council and London Play. The Lloyd Park Centre provides a range of children's services and is currently constructing a new play area adjacent to Aveling Fields.
