1. The Council have attached notices on railings and
fences in and around the park, to appeal for volunteers to take part in the tree
planting event on 20 November. 2. The moat has been drained. 3. All buildings and structures in the former Lanscape Gardeners Depot have been demolished and construction work has begun. 4. Work has recommenced on the Walthamstow Borough Bowling Club pavillion, with erection of the external walls being undertaken. 5. The telephone box at the park main entrance gates has been repaired however the glass panels have still not been replaced. 6. Work has commenced in Aveling Fields (top soil has been scooped out), with the creation of an area for trees. |
