Good morning all,

Thanks to those who attended on Saturday, a bullet point summary of what was discussed is included below for you all.

· The group were happy with the design and did not want to make any significant changes, the design was noted to cater for beginners through to experienced riders and was more skateboard orientated due to the demographic of the local user group.

· The one suggested change to be made to the design (subject to approval by JerramFalkus & the Council) is changing the flat bank extension to the small bowled corner so that is is brick instead of concrete.

· The other suggestions were in relation to landscaping and children running into skatepark traffic, it was proposed to do this by introducing small, steep bunds that will double as viewing platforms that could also possibly accommodate a bench &/or bins?

· Safety signage was raised in discussion and is not currently included in the package, but can be added at an extra cost. We’ll check this with JerramFalkus.

· The topic of discussion was lighting and wether or not any was being supplied for the skatepark, or if new park lighting would overflow enough to light the skatepark?

· The construction start date and completion date were mentioned several times, Gravity will discuss this with JerramFalkus and let you know once a final schedule has been agreed.

· A potential future expansion was also brought up. The current design and site parametres will allow for the skatepark to be extended North (Beyond the curved bench), South (Down from the rail and the Pillar supported Hubba) or East (Out behind the bowled corner section.) Possible items for the expansion were a bowl and further street elements such as a manual pad and more block/ledge variations.

Please feel free to add in anything I may have missed and remember that comment and feedback are welcome as usual.

Kind regards,

Jake Hipwell
