There are various organisations that have a permanent base in the park. Unusually we have two Bowling Clubs, one plays on turf and the other on a synthetic green. The Aveling Park Club plays on turf and the Walthamstow Bowls Club will be moved to a new location in the park and will have a new synthetic green installed. The Skatepark is being re-located within the park and will be completely rebuilt to the latest standards. The Lloyd Park Centre is a Children's Centre and provides numerous facilities for young children. Waltham Forest College will take over the running of the Hub buildings, including the new cafe, when the building work is completed in the summer of 2012. The William Morris Gallery occupies the large house at the entrance to the park. |
